Gaelic Football…

This is a really cool sport that started in the 16th century. People first started playing it in Ireland. It’s a mix of basketball and soccer. I think it’s a really cool sport. It’s really hard because people can shoulder you and they can pick the ball up with their hands. It’s also very common to get hurt. You don’t wear any protective gear. My friend Dylan and Ryan explained it to me. Next season of Gaelic football starts in spring. I’m going to join next season. The Youth Center…

Today I went to a youth center. It is run by the church across the street from the youth center. Today 46 people signed up for it. A ticket is 10 dollars for the year. After that each time you come you have to pay 50 cents. Inside the youth center, you can buy chips, soda, cookies, and hot dogs and sometimes pizza. I saw my friend Dylan, Lorcan, Patrick, Mark, Christopher, his older brother Ryan, Maroon, and 3 bikers. At the youth center, you can play pool, ping pong, foos ball, 2 on 2 basketball, a game called Nok Hockey, and at the end there’s a game of steal the bacon. I had a lot of fun, so I think I’m going next Friday.

The Bike I Want To Buy…

There’s this really cool bike that I want to buy. The company is named Stolen, and the bike’s name is Sinner. It weighs 25.2 pounds. I hope I get it around spring time so I can have it ready when summer comes. I only need to buy the brakes for the bike. When I get it I don’t know where I will put it. I like the colors on the bike. When I get it I’m going to take real good care of it. I might start adding different parts to it like new seats, pegs, grips, and chains. If I don’t get this bike I might buy I different bike.

2nd Day of 5th grade…

Today in my class the teacher said that we have to decorate our writing notebooks by using words from newspapers, magazines, computer or pictures you have or pictures on the internet. I’m going to use a picture of Stewie Griffin, the New York Times logo, a picture of Big Bird, a Corvette, a Lamborghini, Tony Hawk, Rob Dyrdek (a skateboarder), Jay Cutler (Chicago Bears QB), Chicago Bears logo, Chicago Cubs logo, Tony Romo (Dallas Cowboys QB), the New York skyline at night, and a bunch of other things. I found out that science class is on Thursdays, during 6th period, so when I join band, I won’t have science because band practice is 6th and 7th period. I also found out that I have gym on Fridays, during 3rd period. I’m glad that gym is on Friday because if it was on Thursdays during 6th or 7th period, I wouldn’t get to go to gym because of band practice. And I’m glad that it’s on Friday because that’s one of my favorite days of the week. It’s one of my favorite days of the week because friday is pizza day, after school is out it’s the weekend, and recess starts tomorrow!

First Day Of 5th Grade….

Today was my first day of 5th grade at P.S.150Q in Sunnyside, NY. My new teacher is Mrs. Edgerton. She is a new teacher in my school. I was a little nervous when I walked in the class. I found out that the class has drama class on Wednesday, 1st period. While the class was working, the music teacher came to our class  and pulled me and my friend Luis out of class and gave us a form for band. There are 3 instruments that we could play. The clarinet, the flute and the alto saxophone. I hope I get to play the alto saxophone. The form says that band practice is on Thursdays during 6 and 7 period. I hope gym isn’t the same time as band practice.  I have 10 friends in my class. I have 5 friends in my class that were in my class last year. My class room number is 4-509. I think my teacher is really nice. This year I’m going to walk to school and walk back. I wish my friends Dylan, Kevin B, Kevin Y, Mushroof, Sayor, and Jenny were in my class. Mushroof was in a different class last year. But my good friend Jayson is in my class. Luis is my other good friend. Last year he was in a different class.

My Birthday Party!!!

My friend Sayor and his brother, my friend Kevin Y., and my cousin Greyson played lazor tag at my party. It was really fun. The teams were me, Greyson, and Kevin V.S. Sayor and his brother and uncle Tim. There were three round through the whole party. The first round, my team won. The second round, my team won, and the third round my team won again. It was a fun party.

After the party was done, we walked to the frying pan. The frying pan is a dock where a old boat is that you can explore. There                                                                              also is a lunch stand there. Sayor and his  brother couldn’t go, they had to go home.
