Today was my first day of 5th grade at P.S.150Q in Sunnyside, NY. My new teacher is Mrs. Edgerton. She is a new teacher in my school. I was a little nervous when I walked in the class. I found out that the class has drama class on Wednesday, 1st period. While the class was working, the music teacher came to our class and pulled me and my friend Luis out of class and gave us a form for band. There are 3 instruments that we could play. The clarinet, the flute and the alto saxophone. I hope I get to play the alto saxophone. The form says that band practice is on Thursdays during 6 and 7 period. I hope gym isn’t the same time as band practice. I have 10 friends in my class. I have 5 friends in my class that were in my class last year. My class room number is 4-509. I think my teacher is really nice. This year I’m going to walk to school and walk back. I wish my friends Dylan, Kevin B, Kevin Y, Mushroof, Sayor, and Jenny were in my class. Mushroof was in a different class last year. But my good friend Jayson is in my class. Luis is my other good friend. Last year he was in a different class.
